Taxpayer MarchGet out the popcorn and the cotton candy the tea party circus is coming to town. The republican minions will be marching on Washington September 12th. Check out this Freedom Works flyer promoting an event on Saturday, September 12th in Washington, DC:

It’s time to take the tea party movement directly to Washington, D.C. Please join thousands of local organizers and grassroots Americans from across the country as we gather in our nation’s capital to deliver a message to the politicians: Enough!
We’ve had enough of the out of control spending, the bailouts, the growth of big government and the soaring deficits. And we reject the future tax increases to pay for all of this spending and debt down the road. We are gathering on 9-12-2009 to deliver our message in person that we’ve had enough!

The same people who created this out of control stuff now want to complain about the disaster they created. Who left the door to the nut house open? You gotta keep it locked shut because once they get out it’s hard to get them back in again. Okay, let’s go over it again for the umpteenth time only I’ll speak real slow this time since you fools have a comprehension problem.

First off, you don’t want to march on Washington on a Saturday because everyone’s gone for the weekend. There’s nobody home; come back during regular business hours. No wait! I get it, your’re going to use the September 11th anniversary as a prop to show how patriotic you are. I’m sorry I underestimated you. You’re more shameless than I gave you credit for.

Anyway, spending isn’t out of control, its cutting taxes without cutting costs to offset the lost revenue that’s the problem. Reagan started this irresponsible maneuver with his massive tax cuts followed up with massive increases in military spending. Bush II repeated this criminal activity with his tax cuts followed by increased military spending followed by a never ending war.

This is known as the old double whammy play. First you open up the Treasury vault and let your business buddies in to help themselves, and then you borrow billions more and pass it out to them in the form of government military contracts. Less money plus more spending equals a debt that can never be paid off.
Both of these men tried to do exactly what you’re trying to do; take the government down just to prove a point. In your case it’s not spending and taxes you hate, it’s Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and the liberal takeover of Washington. This is the same old story; if you’re not in power then you’re not going to play.

According to you, all the spending and bailouts happened in the few months since Obama got elected. He ain’t that effective. Actually, it pretty much all happened before he showed up. You people did it. Mostly in the eight years of the Bush presidency and republican rule.

You call it a tea party and refer to yourselves as patriots because you want to set up a revolution to overthrow Washington. Turns out the jokes on you. The revolution started two years ago when in the midterm elections republican rule was rejected and the democrats took control of the House. It concluded with your being replaced in the Senate and White House in 2008. In other words you were fired and your ass was shoved out the door.

The real tea party happened when the electorate tarred and feathered your philosophy of managing the government (after giving it an eight trial period) and threw it off the ship and into the harbor. The flag waving and September 11th tributes won’t work. Bush and Cheney tried this approach for eight years, and they still went down in disgrace. You’re going down with them.

Ringmaster, call in the clowns, let the shown begin. Will there be elephants and monkeys? Probably not, but there will be an assortment of circus side show freaks.
