Being unemployed and with some time to kill I decided to do some reading. Being half in a dream world anyway, I wanted to read a story of fictional characters in love. That’s it, a love story. So I picked up a copy of THE LEGEND OF SHADES BEACH.
The main character, Jenny Sylvester, (I love the name Jenny) walks alone on the beach every night. This is the perfect setting for a story like this, a forlorn Jenny dreaming of her missing lover with only the tranquility of a pacified ocean and the muted twilight sunset to console her. She dreams and I get lost in her dream as I read.
This is a story of a missing lover and another man who seeks to steal away Jenny’s heart. Jenny is torn between the need for a miracle and the need to move on.
