How To Take America Back Conference Phyllis Shaffely Obama Hitler Comparisons

By Mike Hammer (alias the peasant)

I was kind of impressed with Barack Obama and Michelle and the two kids. Seemed like a lovely family and a real American success story that we could all be proud of. Boy, I couldn’t have been more wrong.  You see, I’ve been reading Phyllis Schlafly of Eagle Forum and now I can see that an insidious plot has been hatched against this late great nation. Obama is the second coming of Hitler, and has already infiltrated our public schools and is indoctrinating our children with Fuehrer worship.

He also is a secret Muslim and all of us who elected him prefer to call him Hussein rather than Barack because we’re all converting to Islam. Here is an excerpt from Ms. Schlafly’s article:

Red alert to parents: If you send your children to a public school, they may be secretly indoctrinated in the cult of Obama-worship. If that’s not your plan for your children, you had better act now, before it’s too late.

Before Obama’s election, it was considered a political no-no for Republicans to use his middle name. Beginning with his inauguration in January, he and his followers use Hussein to glorify his Muslim heritage and connections.

I’ve been following politics since JFK and I’ve never seen anything like this. Things were bad in the 60’s with the racial hatred and the cultural revolution, and this sort of rhetoric harkens back to those perilous times.

We could dismiss Ms. Schlafly as an isolated nut case, but she was a key note speaker at the How to Take America Back conference in St. Louis over the weekend. This was sponsored by an organization called Faith2Action. It believes itself to be a Christian group advocating faith based positions on political issues, but to me they seem to be part delusional.

Over the years I thought society was improving, with the population getting access to community colleges and most kids getting a high school diploma. Even with the booming number of televisions and cable channels people had access to more information and as a consequence should have developed a broader perspective on national issues. Television should have been the one media that united us because we were all watching the same thing; Saturday Night Live, American Idol, Grey’s Anatomy among others.

What saddens me is that times change but people don’t. We have not become enlightened or advanced beyond the hatred and bigotry that was America in the 60’s. In fact we are not moving ahead but slipping backward. Hatred, violence, intolerance, bigotry should be things of the past, but they are being resurrected by one event, the election of Barack Obama.

The irony is that the cause of this uprising is rooted in religion. Funny how Jesus provokes so much hatred and potential violence.  A couple of the root issues are abortion and homosexuality. Unfortunately, there is no middle ground we can meet on since these people have drawn a line in the sand on these issues. Obama may as well be Satan himself to these people. Like Hitler, a mass murderer and a pagan warlock caught up on perverted sex rituals that include sodomy.

This is not so much a political matter but a profoundly disturbing psychological case of abnormal behavior. But this behavior is well documented and its progress is predictable.  Once lathered up by their false teachings; logic dictates the target needs to be removed. The civil way would be to call for impeachment, and I expect to see that movement mobilized sometime next year.

The other way is to incite Timothy’s McVeigh’s comrades to do their thing. Or to provoke those who have a predilection to go on a shootout at abortion clinics to mobilize into action.

If something terrible happens, the ones who need to be held accountable are people like Glen Beck, John Boehner and Mike Huckabee (who by the way spoke at the How to Take America Back Conference). These are the leaders they look to further their cause. If you cater to them you endorse the consequences of their actions. At this point it is pure hate speech you endorse. It may quickly be violence you enable.

If it happens your belated condemnations will be meaningless. You participated in inciting it, and you need to be held accountable as an accomplice.

  • Hottest Christian book in the land gets hotter
The politicians who quoted Isaiah 9:10 after the 9/11 terror attacks probably meant it as encouragement. But the new book “The Harbinger: The Ancient Mystery That Holds the Secret of America’s Future” explains that the verse actually is a statement of defiance to God — a nation essentially thumbing its nose at the Almighty. And people […]
